Land Development

Surveying

Copperbelt Engineering Ltd. offers an adaptive and modern approach by utilizing the latest Real Time Kinematic (RTK) Global Positioning Systems (GPS) for topographical/site surveys and construction layout.

An initial topographical/site survey will provide the basis for the design plans by identifying the existing features including, but not limited to trees, slopes and changes in elevation, streams and rivers, streets and walkways, buildings, fences and walls, manholes, utility poles.

Upon implementation of the design plans, construction surveying layout of reference points and markers will be provided to guide the construction of new infrastructure such as site grading, deep and shallow utilities, roadways, and surface works. Copperbelt provides the following surveying services:

  • As-built Surveys

  • Construction Layout for Site Grading, Deep and Shallow Utilities, Roadways, and Surface Works (concrete curbs, landscaping, sidewalks, and pathways)

  • Control Surveys

  • Earthwork Measurements and Quantity Calculations

  • Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Record Keeping, Evaluation and Adherence to Construction Tolerances and Specific Requirements

Construction Management

Copperbelt Engineering Ltd. offers an in-depth approach to construction management for land development engineering and municipal infrastructure engineering projects, whether it be for site grading, deep and shallow utilities, roadways, or surface works. Copperbelt provides the following construction management services:

  • Claim Review, Mitigation, and Resolution

  • Contract Administration (Change Orders, Contemplated Change Notice, Progress Claims, Request for Information (RFI), Shop Drawing Submittals and Site Instructions (SI)
